Bed Rest is Boring

So, I've been on bed rest for officially about 12ish hours now and boy, what a beat down...I've always wondered what it would be like to be on bed rest, I had all these great thoughts about it. You know, like, I'll have time to get the house cleaned, fix great dinners, run errands. Oh hell no, that is NOT how it works. It literally means BED REST. In bed (or on the couch) RESTING.

I feel like I am sitting in a really boring class at school and only 4 minutes have passed since I last looked at the clock. You know the feeling. It's horrible. My only saving grace is tonight, I get to break out of this joint and head back to the hospital to drop some stuff for the lab, THEN I get to see my friend Amy to pick up some of my work junk from her house. I cannot tell you how pumped I am to see her. Then tomorrow, my cousin and her hubby are going to come over to visit me (and bring lunch I think!). When my cuz comes, she will bring with her magazines, books, and DVD's for me to keep busy reading/watching. Lord knows I need SOMETHING to do other than just sit.
