2010 shaped up to be a pretty darn good and busy year for my family. We've made new friends, held onto the old ones, and look forward to making memories this new year.
My company got some serious action in Q4. For all you non-number people, that mean the 4th Quarter...At any rate, we were cranking out cards and labels like it was nobodys biz-nass. Alas, I am happy the holi-craze is over, but am already thinking about my Fall and Winter plans. There are a lot of things in the works for this little engine that could. Check out the site when you have a free moment.
During the holicraze, my smart-self decided to take a girls trip to NYC. (I know you are asking yourself why in God's name would I do this, and trust me, I asked myself the same question the day I got back and had over 100 orders to finish processing/proofing/printing.) Next year, we plan better. While in NYC with my bud CB, we visited a famous candy store and lo-and-behold guess who was there signing books, but Dylan (of Dylan's Candy Store) herself. Super cool chick and she certainly knows how to have a sweet store. (Get it? Sweet. Ummmkay.)

In true Erin fashion, I have been busy planning a certain someone's 2nd birthday. I'll let you guess who.

Since we love to make animal sounds (whether devil-like or sweet), we are doing a Circus theme shin-dig. Invites in the works.
The little dude is talking all the time, and in fact today, we had an entire conversation in the car about what he wanted for dinner. It consisted mostly of me asking him if he wanted certain things and him saying 'no', but there came a moment when he specifically asked me for chicken and green beans. Wha??? So, that's what he got. Delish. He amazes me everyday (and yes, drives me nuts, too) and makes me a better person. We are starting a super cool class at the Museum of Nature and Science for 8 weeks. Good luck to me. I am SURE there will be at least 1 post about this class.
The hubster and I are getting reacquainted after the holidays as it seems that I hardly have the time in the day to say 7 words to the man. Those words are usually, "Hey, can you please do the dishes?" We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in late December by enjoying a kidless meal at Craft. If you haven't been- go. Go as fast as you can. You will love it. In fact, we save our nickles and try to hit that spot at least 4 times a year. (For you non-numbers people, that's about once a quarter.) Still in love with his guns and ammo, the hubster is enjoying me having a little more free time (I think.).
We have big plans in January. He'll move OUT of the office we currently share and I'll move OUT of the garage. Basically, we are doing what we should've done YEARS ago but didn't due to time. And now, we have time. (Really?!) I am hoping this move will take place in a few weeks so I can totally paper pimp the be-jesus out of this room and have some inspiring art on the walls. Translates to: get the guns and crap outta here and let me take over, bro.
In closing, I'd like to do a quickie shout out to the 5 people who read this. You know who you are. If you have a cool blog or website you think I need to check out (now that I have SOOOOO much time on my hands), puh-leese send it to me via email. I love new sites and blogs.
Happy 2011!
